Dr. Clovis John Brooks

Dr. Clovis John Brooks was one of the most accomplished citizens that Canada has ever had. He brought a great deal of pride and respect not just to his native land of Jamaica, but to the city of Toronto, the country of Canada, and the British Commonwealth. He was a recipient of the Order of Ontario, Order of Jamaica, Order of Canada, and Queen’s Jubilee Medal along with an honorary doctorate degree in Law from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Brooks also received many other awards, designations, and medals for his tireless efforts in supporting higher education and learning and community involvement.

Dr. Clovis John Brooks was not just an inspiration, leader, and role model he was also my grandfather and one of the chief reasons I grew up to become the man I am today. I owe him a great deal starting from my very early childhood. He was always around in my life growing up providing a shining example of how to carry yourself as a professional with your head held high along with intelligence in your brain, courage and honour in your heart, and a sense of morality and justice in your gut.

Thank-you Grandpa for everything.

The Nature Of Magic

The Nature of Magic is a prologue from the DC comic "Day of Vengeance". This prologue basically sums up the history of the occult, magic, and pagan mythology. I transcribed the entire passage to once again practice my cursive writing. As I mentioned in an FB post I was unable to find a direct link so I am basically the sole source for this unless of course you have read it already.

The Ages of Man

Cursive writing has become such a lost art. I am trying to bring it back. “The Ages of Man” is an original piece that I wrote myself. It is a history of man from the early beginnings until the present day.
